PET DEPOSIT/PET POLICY
Pets are allowed on the premises only with an appointment by management to meet your pet, an Animal Addendum on file, additional security deposit, and the full written consent and knowledge of the facts by management. If a pet is acquired after you move in, it is necessary to make proper arrangements with the office immediately or you will be in violation of your lease. All residents with pets are required to submit a veterinarian statement establishing the age, general health of the pet and the status of all shots. (The only exceptions would be pets designated as service animals required to accompany a resident with a verified disability for the specific purpose of aiding that person). No pet(s) will be allowed under 1 year old. No pet food or dishes are permitted on patio, breezeway or yard area. All pets must be leashed to be outside. Patios and balconies are not for pet defecation nor are pets allowed to be left unattended in these areas.
Restrictions – We will accept all breeds of dogs at least one year old, except the following breeds or a mix of the following breeds: Akita, Chow Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Malamute, Mastiff, Pit Bull, Presia Canario (Pit Bull Family), Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Wolf, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Saint Bernard. We allow a maximum of two pets per apartment. Cats must be neutered or spayed and de-clawed, no kittens. In addition, any reptiles, exotic animals, farm animals, ferrets, or any other type of animal that the management finds unsuitable for apartment living, will be prohibited.
Approval for any other animal not listed above will be reviewed on an individual basis.
If you have a pet or if you obtain a pet while a resident, you will be required to pay the following fees: for one pet a non-refundable fee of $200 and a additional security deposit of $200. For two pets a non-refundable pet fee of $400 and an additional security deposit of $400. An additional pet rent will be required at $10 per month per pet.
Vaccination – Management requires updated vaccination information on a yearly basis.
Liability for Cleaning – Owner of pet shall be responsible for the immediate removal of pet defecation occurring anywhere on the apartment Community. Any resident that does not comply with their lease contract will be fined. The first offense will be $25, the second offense will be $50, and on the third offense we will take further action.
